Our Privacy Philosophy
Privacy is not an afterthought at ToolsHub — it is the foundation of everything we build. We believe that online tools should work for you, not track you. That is why every single tool on this platform runs entirely in your browser. No data you enter — whether it is text, passwords, images, or JSON — ever leaves your device. There are no background servers processing your inputs, no databases storing your sessions, and no analytics scripts watching your behavior.
We designed ToolsHub to be the privacy-first alternative to bloated, data-hungry tool websites. When you use our tools, you are not the product — you are simply a person getting work done.
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information. Period.
All 48 tools on ToolsHub run entirely on your device (client-side). No data is transmitted, stored, or processed on our servers. We do not have user accounts, login systems, or any mechanism to identify individual visitors.
The only technical data automatically handled by your browser includes standard HTTP headers (such as your browser type and operating system) which are necessary for basic internet communication. This information is not logged, stored, or analyzed by us. Your IP address may be visible during the connection but is not recorded or processed.
Cookies and Local Storage
ToolsHub does not use cookies. We have no need for them since all processing happens locally in your browser without any server-side storage, session management, or user authentication.
We do not use any form of local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB) for tracking purposes. Your browser may cache static assets like CSS and JavaScript files for performance, which is standard browser behavior and not initiated by us for tracking.
Some third-party services we use (such as Font Awesome for icons) may set their own cookies. We have no control over these and recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies.
Third-Party Services
ToolsHub uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:
- Font Awesome — Provides icons used throughout the site. Loaded from a CDN. See their privacy policy at fontawesome.com/privacy.
- QRCode.js — Client-side QR code generation library loaded from CDN. No data transmission.
- JsBarcode — Client-side barcode generation library loaded from CDN. No data transmission.
We carefully select third-party services that respect user privacy. None of these services receive any of your data from our tools, as all processing happens locally on your device.
Data Security
Since we do not collect, store, or transmit any user data, there are no data security risks related to our service. Your data never leaves your device for any of our 48 tools.
We recommend the following general security practices:
- Keep your browser and operating system up to date with the latest security patches
- Use a modern browser that supports Content Security Policy (CSP)
- Avoid entering sensitive real passwords into any online tool, including ours
- Clear your browser cache periodically if you are concerned about residual data
The site is served over HTTPS to ensure encrypted transmission between your browser and our server. However, we emphasize that your actual tool inputs are never transmitted — they stay entirely within your browser's memory.
Your Rights
Under GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy regulations, you have the right to:
- Access — Since we collect no data, there is nothing to access
- Deletion — Since we collect no data, there is nothing to delete
- Portability — Since we collect no data, there is nothing to transfer
- Objection — You can stop using the site at any time with no consequence
Because our architecture is fundamentally privacy-first, your rights are automatically protected. We designed the system so that privacy compliance is inherent, not an afterthought.
Children's Privacy
Our services are available to users of all ages. Since we do not collect any personal information from anyone — including children under 13 as defined by COPPA — no special consent mechanisms are required. We do not knowingly collect, store, or process data from any user, regardless of age.
Parents and guardians can be confident that children using ToolsHub are not being tracked, profiled, or having their data collected in any way.
